NANJING INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CULTURAL CENTRE
Located in the CBD of Hexi New Town with the modern color in Nanjing, the Nanjing International Youth Cultural Centre (IYCC) integrates multiple functions such as hotel, office premises, large-scale parking lot, shopping mall, conference and exhibition, and service apartment, etc. IYCC was initially opened for the 2014 Youth Olympic Games.
IYCC occupies a site area of 5.2 hectares with a construction floor space of 465,000 square metres. The taller of the two towers is 68 floors high and contains office floors and the Jumeirah Hotel. The shorter tower is 59 floors in height and houses a further 4-star hotel. The two towers share a five-level, mixed-use podium that houses the Cultural Centre.
Designed by Zaha Hadid, the world-renowned British deconstructivism designer, it is one of the landmarks of new urban center in Nanjing.
